dyeing a polyester/spandex dress

Message: I have teal 93% polyester and 3% spandex dress that I want dye Black is this possible.

No. Dyeing polyester requires boiling it in a special sort of dye for an hour, but spandex, which is a thermoelastic polyurethane, cannot survive any boiling at all.
