Is it possible to dye neoprene?Name: kevin
Message: Is it possible to dye Neoprene? I have neoprene seat covers and I would like to dye tan to black. If it is possible. how would I go about doing it? No, I do not think that this is possible. Dyeing neoprene probably requires that you mix the dye into the liquid from which the neoprene is made. It is important that any dye mixed into the neoprene not react with the rubber and cause it to break down prematurely. You could paint the neoprene, but the paint would probably peel off when the neoprene is stretched. Sorry. (Please help support this web site. Thank you.)
