My heart attemptHi Paula and Everyone - It's me again! So I did a heart (of sorts :-)), but once I "pleated the heart", I didn't know if I should cover that whole first pleated area up to the rubberband, beyond the rubberband. And then I didn't know what to do with the rest of the shirt. I really liked the heart of Robyns13 (locovwbus) - with not so many colors. But her heart was really nice and the rest of the tee shirt was lovely. How did she do that? I don't care for the extra colors: yellow and brown - but two colors would be really nice. And she put halos around a heart that was not completely red - and that was really nice. consecutive heartsi know how to tie the basic heart and then do a crinkle design. i have seen a few shirts done with the "main" heart and after that the shirt is an outline of the first heart in various colors. say the heart is red, then there is a heart outline of the red in orange, after this there is a heart shaped outline in yellow, then blue etc. i am guessing that i keep tying the shirt in the same manner that i did for the first heart until all the material is used. any thoughts? and how would i fold in the sleeves? in opposite directions or in the same? i hope this question makes sense. |
