I love this project, sent in by its creator, Renee Carmel:

Hi there, I just wanted to thank you for making such an awesome and helpful website. I made my own Halloween costume this year, and thought I wanted to tie dye it. Luckily your website had all kinds of examples of different dying techniques, and I decided to do your low water immersion dying instead. I don't know if you want to put other people's pictures on your site, but I attached a picture of my costume anyway... it's a pteranodon, made famous by Jurassic Park and kids everywhere. I used emerald green and black Procion MX fiber reactive dyes and pretty much followed your directions... except for not mixing enough black powder in the dye, and forgetting to keep track of how much liquid went in, despite the site's warnings.

Anyway, thanks again for making your website and allowing my costume to be such a success-- I have little doubt that it would be nowhere near as cool as it turned out, if I hadn't run into your information. =)
