"Vibrant Color" DVD for sale

I just listed "Vibrant Color" by Jane Dunnewold and Lisa Kerpoe on my artfire shop: http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/4251820.
I have viewed it once, and decided not to go in that direction, so I thought someone here might be interested.

Curious

Hi Judy!

I am curious about your statement, "decided not to go in that direction"! I haven't seen the dvd so I don't know what it's about, but I'm curious to know what about it made you decide to look elsewhere?

Re: "Vibrant Color" DVD

Hi, Judi. I have been playing with soy wax batik for about 4 1/2 years now, and was looking for more information on how to do it. I loved Jane's book 'Complex Cloth', and was hoping for more instruction and examples. My impression from the DVD was that I was not going to get the batik results I keep trying for from the methods they demonstrated. Plus, for the 'crayons' they described making, you need to buy their 'proprietary recipe wax' from them, and I don't want to add yet another product to my supplies... got more than enough already! Hope that answers your question.

Yep!

Sure does, thanks! I've played with the crayons and have some of the proprietary wax myself and have been unimpressed, as well. I thought it was just me.
