February 1997

In these February pictures, Peter is six months old, having grown to twenty pounds on mother's milk alone. It's not true that a big baby needs to start solids early! Here, for the amusement of our families, is a copy of Peter's growth curves. He continues to be exceptionally long and relatively lean! (I used the growth chart from Lewis Wasserman's Baby Booklet.) At this rate, if he stays at the same growth curve (a highly questionable assumption), we might expect him to end up over 6'4", and he might pass my height at the age of eleven or so.
